Haley Sullivan, NC Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist #12309

Hi, I’m Haley!

I’ve been practicing Massage Therapy for over six years, after attending Miller-Motte in Greenville, NC and completing their 920 hour Massage Therapy program in the spring of 2012. Prior to earning my bodywork licensure, I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in metal design from East Carolina University in 2008.

I’m a current member of the American Massage Therapy Association. My massage experience has allowed me to work with a wide range of clients through community chair massage events, in conjunction with chiropractic care and physical therapy, and 5+ years at Refresh-ology Aesthetics and Massage Therapy.

My career has always focused on helping clients manage acute and chronic pain in the most natural, holistic way possible.  Early in my bodywork experience I noticed that many clients were in pain either due to a lack of movement (stiff, weak muscles), or a lack of corrective/restorative movement (overworked, repetitive strain in a specific area.) In order to best serve my clients, I completed Samantha Harrison’s 200 hr Yoga teacher training in Greenville, NC in the spring of 2017. I offer a yoga-based approach to movement for self-care and restoration, based on your individual needs and goals.

While I am highly interested in biomechanics and anatomy of our physical bodies, I am currently furthering my education in the energetic body- I have received Reiki 1 and 2 attunements with Kara Emmy, and love that I can offer my clients this energy healing modality simultaneously with massage.

My bodywork modalities include: deep tissue, myofascial release, prenatal, Traditional Thai Yoga, and Swedish (relaxation.)  My style draws from a background in Thai (Nuat boran), Esalen, and Anatomy Trains for structural integration.
